LAST DAY IN SINGAPORE!!!  PLEASE LET ME GET OUT OF THIS PLACE!!!

Tuesday, June 19, 2007

SG host till the lan shop closes, which is around 3 am.  you see, in order to preserve law and order in the country, and in order that all good citizen in Singapore should have maximun productivity in the next day, all shops and pubs have to close at 3 am here.  very reasonable...

Hong Kong should learn something from Singapore about how to prevent a public food scare:  not a single government lab here performs toxicology test.  Ignorance is a bless, yes~~

Risk factors for a Dengue Fever diagnosis were travel to the Malay Peninsula (odds ratio [OR] 4.95; confidence interval [CI] 2.92 to 8.46), age 15-29 years (OR 3.03; CI 1.87 to 4.92), and travel duration >25 days (OR 8.75; CI 4.79 to 16.06).

i am not sure about how to calculate the cumulative risk, but it is definitely high alright...
